Schniers, 85, of Belleville, IL, born November 1, 1938, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, June 28, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family. Mr. Schniers was a United States Air Force veteran. He had worked as an inserting machine operator before retirement. He was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and was an usher at church for over 50 years. Lawrence was a member of the Mission Association at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows and volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Society Food Pantry. He was a member Midwestern United States Imperial Swing Club of Collinsville, IL. Lawrence enjoyed life and always tried to make people smile. You could find him taking walks up and down Main Street with his dog Ryanne, Swing dancing on the weekends, hitting the town in the evenings, and bowling.
