Hutchinson, 86, of O'Fallon, IL, born September 14, 1937, in Fort Dodge, IA, died Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Mercy South Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Jack served in the United States Air Force followed by decades of loyal government service in defense communications at Scott Air Force Base. Jack was a devout patriot and flew the flag every day. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Alice, of 63 years and passionate patriarch to his sisters, sons, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Before their passing Jack and Alice shared a passion for genealogy and spending time with family and friends. Jack was an avid fisherman, little league coach, Indy racecar enthusiast, St. Louis Cardinal's baseball and St. Louis football fan, and a loyal member of the American Legion. In his youth, Jack received a Medal of Valor from the State of Iowa for saving a young boy's life and was a standout football player
