Andrew Rudolph Roethlisberger, 27, of Marissa, IL; born on September 17, 1996 in Sparta, IL, the son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Heimsness) Roethlisberger; passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Sparta Community Hospital.
Andrew enjoyed gardening, reading and going for rides in the car. He was a man of faith and had trust in the Lord. There were many health battles that Andrew faced. Sometimes there was little hope given to him by his medical peers, but he always kept his faith with God. God always answered him with a subtle sign of hope or unexpected, pleasant surprises. Andrew had a kind, soft-hearted soul that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Roethlisberger of Marissa, IL and aunt, Sandra Roethlisberger of Marissa, IL.
Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Marion Roethlisberger; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Roberts; uncle, Robert Roethlisberger.
