Helen A. Herring, age 86, of Edwardsville, died at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born July 14, 1938 in Midlothian, TX the daughter of the late Carl and Mamie (Doshier) Voyles. She married Charles R. Herring in 1960. He preceded her in death May 2, 2018.
Surviving are two daughters: Tamela Batch and Lisa Ash, both of Edwardsville; and four grandchildren: John Batch, Emma Ash, Morgon Ash and Liam McGue.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
A private memorial service will be held.
