Marvin Ray Weil November 28, 1930 - August 22, 2024 Belleville, Illinois - Marvin Ray Weil, 93, passed away peacefully on August 22. Born in O'Fallon IL township on November 28, 1930, he resided in the Belleville area most of his adult life. He was a proud graduate of O'Fallon Township High School, class of 1948. Marvin served his country honorably in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. After his military service, he dedicated 41 years to a successful career as a salesman at Weeke Wholesale, where he was known for his work ethic and business development results. A devout congregant of Tower View Baptist Church in Shiloh, IL, Marvin was often found in fellowship with his church community. He was a passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed spending his leisure time golfing and bowling. Marvin was the beloved son of the late Hilda Guttersohn and George Weil.
