Cheri Dawn Boyd Hunter, affectionately known as "Tex," was born on November 16, 1961, to Mr. Charles E. Lee and Ms. Helen R. Robinson in Naples, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; grandmother, Vernessa Robinson; sister, Ms. Jeannie R. Boyd; brother, Bobby G. Lee; son, Travon Hunter; adoptive parents, Mr. & Mrs. Nathaniel & Annie Harper; sisters-inlove, VictoriaSimmons and Rosemary Hunter.
Cheri graduated from Paul Pewitt High School in Naples-Omaha, TX. She received degrees from Jarvis Christian College and Southern
Illinois University-Edwardsville in Education. Cheri was an educator before she became a dedicated employee of the Department of
Treasury Internal Revenue Service for 23 years. Cheri loved reading, laughing, spending time with her family and friends, singing, helping
others, watching sports, shopping, and taking care of her mother Helen. Cheri accepted Christ in her life at an early age in Unionville, TX.
